In this blog I will talk about some keyboard shortcuts every coader should know.
- Clipboard History :
So lets get stared with the first shortcut key that is used for viewing clipboard history . By pressing Windows + V key on your keyboard you can easily access clipboard history. This can be navigate by using the arrow keys on the keyboard.
- Windows + arrow keys and dragging a window to right :
Two windows can be opened side by side by selecting a window and dragging it to the extreme right side of the monitor.
This window can also be moved by using the Window + left, Window + right or Widows + down keys. - Windows + 1, 2, 3, 4 :
It's very interesting to know that you can easily open your 1st 2nd and respective windows by clicking the Windows + 1,2,3 etc keys respectively.
- Windows + D to minimize all the opened software :
If you wanna minimise all the running software on your machine , it is easy because of this shortcut you can do so by just clicking Windows + D .
- Control + BackSpace and Control + Delete:
By using the shortcuts Windows + Delete and Windows + backspace you can easily delete the text towards the left hand side.
- Alt Tab and Windows Tab :
You can use Alt + Tab shortcut to see all the applications you have opened before and also all the files you have opened in that application . Also you can open and use the desired window that you want to work on .
- Shift + End and Shift + Home:
Shift + Home -- Highlight from current position to beginning of the line. Shift + End -- Highlight from current position to end of the line. Ctrl + (Left arrow) -- Move one word to the left at a time.
- Windows + P :
For opening the projector preferences on your device window you can use the shortcut Windows + P . You can control the monitor layout of your PC . You can choose to either turn on one,two or duplicate both of the monitors .
- Windows + L:
This shortcut is very handy and also very useful to you as you can easily turn off your pc by clicking this. So your pc can be easily protect your pc from unauthorised access .
- Bonus: Mouse Wheel :
To close a tab in Google Chrome and Open a link in a new tab you can use a simple mouse wheel click . This saves a lot of time while bug hunting and finding a solution on internet everywhere.
